| Hi Jewel, I am no expert on this, but I did it unknowingly years ago, eating only breakfast and lunch, and I was very very thin and very healthy through the births of five children over a span of twenty years. I started gaining when my husband and I started cooking together, it was fun, and I was just eating all the time. Anyways, to my suggestion, if you are starving in the morning and you just can't push the eating window to later in the day, move the window up. Then in the evenings when you are tempted by something, save it for breakfast. Try that. If you cannot keep inside the five hour window, it seems that the next best thing might be to try eat no more than 2 times a day through this stressful time, and then do the fast five when you can. There are benefits to this fasting even for a short 19 hours even when done just once weekly, although I seriously doubt that you would see any weight loss from that, but perhaps you could keep from gaining. I know that everything will work out for you, we all have stress in our life. If you are moving for work, the bright side is that someone in your family has work! Teenagers can now stay in touch with friends easily through email, facebook, and nights and weekend cell phone calls, making the move at least a little bit less traumatic. Sorry for your cat, but happy it is not one of the children or yourself with the expensive surgery needed. And sorry your husband hurt his back, but as a wife and a mother I am sure you are used to getting it done yourself! And you will be back on your meds soon, (my daughter has the same issues, her thyroid medication is still not worked out properly, she is still suffering fatigue because of it) Hopefully others will offer their advise as well, and help you through this tough time! Best wishes to you, I believe if you can switch it up a bit you will find a huge amount of benefit from this! --- On Sun, 2/7/10, loveplaylearnhere <mxsjwl@gmail.com> wrote:
