Re: [fast5] Newbie question

That's great, David. Thanks!  I think I can do this!

Any window that works for you is fine.  One of the key guiding principles of fast 5 is to establish long-term control over calorie intake in a natural and sustainable way.  To this end, the timing of your "window" is much less significant than the fact that your consumption is concentrated within a defined period.

Hi all,
I'm considering trying FF. I've read the book, which states that the window for eating is from 5-10pm. There's no mention of using different times, but in reading through many of the posts here, I see that some of you use different windows. I'm assuming it's okay to chose a 5-hour window that works best for your lifestyle and schedule, but before I start, I want to be sure this is really okay. I'm thinking that a 1:30-6:30 window would work best for me. I rarely eat anything after dinner and don't want to start doing that now. I follow a controlled-carb plan (Carbohydrate Addicts)and would like to continue that as much as possible because I'm eating healthy, whole foods and I feel great, but I need to do something new to get my weight loss going again. Thanks for any advice about the window that you can provide!
Kathy
