[fast5] Re: Day 1 The first few days will be the hardest - Can you help me?

The first thing that jumped out at me when I read your mail was its negativity. You sound as though your self esteem is rock bottom. If there is one really important thing I have learned over the last year (self help books) it is learning how to like myself more. Yes it is really really hard to look in the mirror when you are overweight and tell yourself that you look good but honestly the more you do it the easier it becomes. I have found over the last year that although I still eat more than I want I am so much more in control than I used to be. I am positive this is because I am learning to like myself and be more accepting of the way I am now. I think fast 5 will help me complete the cycle of being in total control.

As for what to eat I have always found Carbs to be a bit of an enemy. I try not to eat too many bad carbs but I dont avoid them completely. I have the same amount of weight to lose as you and I am currently 186 pounds. I have just started this journey with fast 5 too.....be happy to tag along with you!

Remeber to love who you are......you are very worthy!!!!

Regards

Lesley

I have a huge wardrobe full of clothes and after trying everything on and finding maybe 10 items that fit me it's time to take action. That and the fact I was 40 yesterday didn't help, I didn't like how I looked or felt.

I started baking and hey presto, before you know `who ate all the pie', it was me, and I couldn't seen to stop myself. I'm ashamed of myself now but I'm determined to get back in control of my life and food is the first step.
