RE: [fast5] cucumbers

Hi,

just wanted to say, I'm a morning person too and have shifted my window to 10am-2pm now.  I started off with an earlier start, but decided I was happy to fast until 10 so could have a late breakfast and great, filling lunch in my window.

I find that I stay satisfied until the evening, with mild hunger coming on later in the evening but nothing too bad and in fact it probably helps with falling asleep.  In the morning I wake up fasted and not hungry.

I understand why you're thinking of using cucumbers (virtually no calories) but I personally wouldn't do it just because it IS food and it does activate the expectation of the body, to be fed.  So it'd probably be hard to stop eating.  I'd have coffee (decaf in the evening) to sit with.

Nothing to say regarding the wine question, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to shift your window on the weekend - perhaps just going for a long fast between Friday morning window and a Saturday evening window, then again a late Sunday, and leaving Monday altogether without food... that could work?

Good luck,
b

Subject: [fast5] cucumbers

Good morning everyone! I have a question... I really like to eat in the morning- I am a morning person and I hate to feel empty then and I don't like to feel full at night. I have done 5 Fast inconsistently in the past but I think I want to devote myself to it for good now.
Do you think I can eat in the morning from like 7 or 8 until noon or 1 and then eat just cucumbers with salt for dinner? For me it is important to sit with my family (I have a hubby and two daughters) for dinner and it is better if I can munch on something good for me.
Also, do you think I can change my window on the weekends so I might have some wine? I don't really want to do that in the a.m.
Thanks!
