Hi Karen,
Yes green smoothies was something I was having – we grow a lot of our own vegies etc. I have a vitamix so I make velvet smooth ones but I just wanted a green supplement for the days that I can’t be bothered with a smoothie etc. Just didn’t count on getting one with the main ingredient being fructose.

Hi Donna…
Because of medication, I have not been able to Fast5 but still love the concept!
Anyway, I’ve had to find another way to eat supportively and I found Dr Fuhrman’s Eat to Live.
Through the forum I have discovered green smoothies.
Currently, my smoothies are about 1/3 fruit and 2/3 green veggies.
I get about 4 cups of drink so I’m getting lots of greens.
Sorry I cannot address your actual question, tho.

I purchased a supposedly ‘green’ food supplement today and was distracted and in a rush.
I asked for a supplement drink that would help when vegetable intake was low. Was sold Nutralife LOAD UP and just had my first glass.
Was so fixated on the blurb about the good antioxidants that I didn’t take note of the ingredient list.
The first ingredient is FRUCTOSE – 50% for each serve.
If anyone here has any knowledge on this stuff can you please let me know if the amount of fructose in each serve is a concern or does the other stuff in it make up for it?
Want to know if I should just ditch it and get something else or safe to just finish this can (600grams) off (it cost $30)
