I’m reading posts backwards (newest posts first) so I don’t know all your background or situation.
I used Fast5 for about two months (Jan-Feb) till I had to stop to take prescribed meds every 12 hrs.
During that time, I did fine with my workouts – fasted. I did both HIIT and steady state cardio a couple days/wk. I am a serious strength trainer, however.
Now I do all my workouts fasted – albeit not 19-hrs-fasted – more like 10-12 hrs.
But I am feeding my body the fuel that it needs when I eat, too.
I would suggest you hang in there; this really does work.

on my weight lifting days, i can muster enough energy to just go ahead and tackle those weights
on my cardio days, forget about it! i see my treadmill or think of my aerobics videos and just want to jump back into bed.
