I thought once I didn’t need to take my meds (w/food) every twelve hours, I could get back to F5 but found myself floundering on lifting days.
I went back to a healthy ‘regular’ (‘eat all day’) diet. But with the holiday and then my DS and his wife visiting this week, there is a lot of not-so-good food in the house.
I have chosen to lighten up on my workouts this week and use F5.
Monday was a real test, however! (I’d fasted just fine Saturday and Sunday…)
My day started with the dog walk, then a bit of yard work, then taking my boys to their gym work out for football. My Marine son went with us. So while the football boys did their work out (all outside as the school gym was closed), my Marine son had the rest of us doing body weight work. I did a series of planks, walking lunges and one-legged squats.
Then we went home to fix all these big boys (and the rest of the kids) a big breakfast and get ready for MY workout.
17 hrs in to my fast, we finally made it to the gym for an intense (but very low weighted) work out. I’d been a little light-headed and was a bit concerned about the intensity of the workout I knew we had coming, but I persevered. Between the work out, then the cardio/intervals and stretching, we were at the gym for an hour.
A couple more errands to run while in town then home.
I made it perfectly to a 19-hr fast but was well more than ready to eat by the time I had my food ready!
I so appreciate the knowledge of Intermittent Fasting!!!
