I thought I would just give an update with how Fast5 has gone for me. I started to read about and become interested in Fast5 back at the end of May. I had started my weight loss journey around February or March 08'. I had gone from about 220 -> 170 when I started this, as I was finding it difficult to not overeat still, and to counteract everything with cardio. I found that fasting until 5pm or so was not difficult at all, that was how I preferred to eat. I have developed a healthy relationship with food, I have spent my whole life (I am 19) over eating and emotionally eating, mostly unhealthy food like my parents. I've really turned my eating habits around and eat pretty much just fresh vegetables and fruit that I have grown and animal protein. I do weight lifting and body weight exercises most days, I don't have real equipment to work with or a gym to go to so I suppose my workouts aren't real intense although I am certainly building strength. I'm down to 150 this morning, my goal weight is 140. I'm 5'11. I haven't weighed 140lbs since I was in elementary school. I thought I could never get control of my life. I practice meditation and prayer, and Fast5 has really brought control to the food aspect of my life which was greatly needed and is greatly appreciated. I have been turning more people onto this way of living but many people are quite stuck on the social standard of 3x meals a day. I've had no weakness or fatigue, and I've really become aware of how much my body needs to eat, and what particularly it needs. I never crave refined sugars or processed foods anymore. Anyone who is questioning whether or not to try this way of life, should most definitely just dive in and give it a shot. If you really hate it, and I am sure you won't, you can always go back to your old way of eating.
