Hi there! You sound just like me, although I need to lose about 120lbs to be where I want to be, but I am 300lbs and I am on my second day of the fast 5 and I am amazed how easy it has been for me. I am one of those people who it is easy to fast for 19hrs and several times I have found myself doing it without even knowing it, but typically I just eat because I can. Now that I am telling myself I cant eat until 2:30pm I have been fine. Granted it is only day 2, but I had a feeling that I would be able to do this fine. Now I hope I can stick to it and lose some weight and bring down my blood pressure and sugar numbers!
I am trying to break my fast with a protein shake and veggies and yesterday it worked great and then I ate a Mcdonalds Southwest chicken salad (so yummy and not bad for you if you get grilled chicken and don't use the dressing!) for dinner, but I also had a hot fudge sundae but that was all i ate and now today I seem to be good, I am a little hungry, but not overwhelming, of course i still have 2.5hrs to go before I break my fast.
Anyway, I am eagerly reading posts on this forum and hoping for some great success stories!
