[fast5] Re: Plant based diet

Rob you are right it takes time. I too like the idea of the fasting to clean out and regroup. The trick is to not use the 5 hour window to overeat calories or nutrionally bankrupt foods (chips, candy.. even though a little of that goes a long way a lot of that doesn't get you much further). some days I feel really hungry and those days I need to go for the health & taste as opposed to the empty calories. I guess it's not just the 5 hour window but what you eat during that time. because if your input exceeds your caloric output you will not be losing any weight, additionally if you shortchange yourself on nutrition you will feel that effect. I think pace is the key. as the saying goes slow and steady wins the race?
also like you mentioned staying busy is good too maybe excess eating can be due to boredom sometimes?
i think its also good to make sure to stay hydrated as well
