Hi Susie! Congratulations on taking charge of your eating and doing
something good for yourself!

Take each day and learn through each one; don't be in a hurry for them to go
by. Eating is just one part of our lives, eh? ;-))

Heather had posted how the Warrior Diet suggests you break your fast.

I can't locate it right off hand and don't remember it exactly, but it seems
to me, they suggested breaking your fast with a salad, then add the protein
and starches and finally dessert, if desired.

I noticed you commented about arthritis, too... well over a year ago, I
(51) noticed tightness in my knuckles and feared it might be the start of
arthritis. It comes and goes. But I am noticing it is gone when I don't
eat wheat! So as you tweak your nutrition, try a week (or more) with as
little gluten as possible and see if that doesn't make a difference for you
(a week might not be long enough...).

It's Day 3 and I know from reading posts that I just want to get to Day
6..... that's my goal, and then just continue each day the same as the day
before. I will be so glad when I'm a month into this and it's all just a way
of life!
