Thanks Bunny. Congrat's on your great progress so far!
I think that for years I've had part of the answer. I've been eating a contolled-carb diet (Carbohydrate Addicts) that includes lots of fresh veggies, clean protein, healthy fats, and whole grains. I've eliminated white flour, sugar, and starchy carbs. I was eating three meals a day - and having pretty large portions. Even though I was satisfied eating this way, and it certainly was good for my body, my weight-loss had pretty much stalled - for years. Adding Fast-5 seems to have jump-started my weight loss again and fits well with my WOE - plus I feel terrific and love the freedom from eating so often - and find I'm eating much less.

I know what you mean by a challenge, as soon as someone tellse no - I dig in too! Maybe you have struggled for so many years because you were simply working with the wrong information.I am down a total of 8 lbs and I am in my third week. 4 the first, 1 the second and now 3 the third.I so happy to hear of your success!
Sent from my iPhoneI've just made it through week 1 and so far, this is great! I've found it pretty easy to wait until my window opens at 1:30. I've been having 2 meals, but finding I'm not all that hungry for dinner, so I'm thinking of moving my window until later and just having dinner. I'm finding it amazing how disinterested in food I am. This is not my usual state, LOL! I have this feeling of calm, and when I do eat, I'm eating less than I normally do. Weight is even down a couple of pounds, which I didn't expect in the first week. My DH is skeptical, having watched me struggle with my weight for the past 38 years. He says, "Talk to me in 6 months." I take that as a challenge!KathyOn 8 February 2010 14:42, jennalynnflynn19 <jennalynnflynn19@yahoo.com> wrote:
Hi Kathy,
Well, I find that I am usually still full from lunch and snack around 4-4:30 and don't need anything after that. I usually find that around 8:30, I get a little bit hungry but I just have some water or try to think of something else or occupy myself. My hunger has really diminished over time.
Jenna.
