Because of course it IS getting cooler (even here in South Carolina). But since I began Fast 5 in October, definitely no hot flashes.

Now I'm conscious of it, and I like the idea of thinking of it as a 22-hour fast. (I still need those 2 hours to eat in; can't quite make it on 1 yet.)

Yes, that's why I think the Fast-5 is a terrible name as it gets people thinking most about the EATING Window instead of concentrating on consecutive Fasting time.

If you go most days with a Fast-22, that's great. Too many think they have to eat over a period of 5 hours before they will start fasting. By not eating to the ragged edge of a 5 hour eating "window" you can vary your length of fast each day from 19 to 23 hours based upon feel.

I'm still attending Weight Watchers meetings (for the accountability), and of course everyone there is worried about Thanksgiving. I'm not -- I have no doubt it'll be easy to deal with during my window, and it'll be easy to avoid eating before and afterward.

Says she's also lost 9 pounds -- and because of medical issues, she cannot exercise at all.

Yes, I think there are equal benefits of where Fasting places your body with positive effects. Along with the Fasting, proper food selection is better than Pharmaceutical Drugs which saturate Evening "news". I heard Imus on this morning complaining to his co-anchor about his congestion, as I have heard him so many times. Suddenly, it struck me and I wish I could tell him positive benefits I have noticed with No Grain. His wife is a vegetarian kook and won't let him eat but a bit of fish. I imagine he is being pushed all kinds of Whole Grains. Dropping Multiple Grain Bread I would buy every week I noticed I started losing fat and Especially was able to breath so clearly it was astounding. I always thought I had allergies for years that would stuff me up.

I do however eat full-fat dairy. And since no problems ever with it, I keep fatty dairy in my diet. Replace Carbs with animal fat, Always.

I've been keeping sugar away but not making a big deal if I want to eat ice cream or pumpkin pie. I'm going to eat that next week for sure. Will probably eat a bunch of yummy dinner rolls with turkey, since it's just a once a year daal. Fructose is ESPECIALLY bad and belly fat started to return in the thirsty time of summer and drank fructosed soft drinks.

I found that Royal Crown Diet Cola uses Splenda, not the bad for you (Brain tumors) Aspartame found in far too many no-sugar products. And Sucralose/Splenda doesn't taste like that Aspartame crap that got it's start with Diet Coke.

I think proper fasting is good way to counter so many Government/Pharmaceutical lies. Low Insulin level is what we attain along when we avoid carbs as much as possible. Government brainwashing has certainly made people afraid of animal saturated fats but those are what you should eat to counter the missing carbs.

Be Rebelious, Think for Yourself and start reaping health benefits by reading Gary Taubes "Good Calories, Bad Caloris. Dr. Eades and the wealth of low carb, high fat, moderate protein with Barry Groves.

BTW, if you have to travel through an airport for Thanksgiving, don't let the TSA Screeners "Feel ya Up", Punch 'em like the guy at Indianapolis airport did this week. :-)
