Hi Sarah,
I check the group everyday so I see ya ~grin~ so any reply to the group is great, and perhaps helps us all.
What type of a menu do you recommend? I did Dr. Bernstein’s program and felt so hungry, faint & dizzy… only 700 to 800 calories a day allowed. I did shed 20+ pounds but it took about 3 months.
Could you post a specific menus/meal plans you think fit? Is it a long term thing…or short term to burn the rest of the baby weight only? Reach an ideal weight and maintain type thing? (I have another 20 to go…)
I love Fast Five (since switching over to it 2 months ago) and the freedom of only one a meal a day, with snacks and dessert if there is room. I just seem to be staying the same though and no losing very fast…or at all.
Thanks~
i received a couple of questions regarding ketosis and i will gladly answer
them but first 2 things.
1. please ask specific questions
2. if i reply to the group are you all seeing me or should i reply to each
email separately? (makes life a lot harder....)
just one more thing to prove my point:
aging and diseases occur mainly from cell damage, what is the
largest contributor to damaged cells? high sugar and insulin levels! need
proof? o.k.. on your blood test result you will see your A.I.C.% levels.
that is the percent of damage your cells have had in the past 3 months. the
way they test it is, they calculate your average sugar number from the past
3 months and depending if the number is high or low they give you they give
you your aic percent level.......
sugar levels will always have a high number while a non diabetic following
a ketogenic diet will always have the lowest number. so again, if your sugar
levels are high your aic is high and if it is low (as it ALWAYS is if you
are in ketosis) then it will be low. i hope it was clear enough.... it is
pretty complicated to explain.....
one more point (couldn't resist even though i am getting a cramp in my hand)
triglycerides will ALWAYS i repeat ALWAYS (my guarantee) drop
down significantly on a ketogenic diet. (triglycerides is a deadly form
of fat in the blood and is caused by high sugar levels) i tell my clients
with high triglycerides to move to an apartment at least a block away from a
hospital because they will most definitely have to use it...... if they
dont bring it down........
one more......
i have cured numerous clients with P.C.O.S. "an hormonal disorder that
causes infertility, facial hairs, irregular periods , obesity.....
a ketogenic diet.
