Re: [fast5] Re: Long timer reporting in.

Tara, I'd love to hear how you ate during weight loss and how that changed for you once you hit maintenance.  Thanks!

Hey Wallie,
I actually weighed myself about once per week during weight loss. I made sure that I only stepped on the scale during my lightest time in my window, an hour or two before I broke fast because there is such a difference after I eat or drink, and I wanted to see myself at my lowest possible. I don't like to weigh often because I don't want to be obsessed with my weight. However, I am in maintenance, and I check about once a month or so just to see. I can usually tell by how my clothes fit if I have been overindulging during my window.
Hope that answers you question.
Tara

When I start eating to much dinner (restaurant style) or, am not active enough, I gain 1 or 2 pounds and then I start paying attention again. But, I am actually throwing out clothes that I wore out, not that I out grew. That is really nice. But I think the best part about fast-5 is that my life is no longer about food. I like food, I enjoy eating when it is time. But I don't spend the majority of my day thinking about it, planning it, eating it or cleaning it up. That was my life style of old.
