The only time ketones are bad is if you are a diabetic. When burning the fat…ketones are ok, but not everyone spills them into the urine in great quantities.  Mine always stayed low, no matter how long I was on the induction phase of the diet.

I have done Atkins extensively. ketones not being healthy? who said that? Atkins didn't. When you burn fat, you generate Ketones. Do you want to burn fat? If you live off your sugars, you never burn your fat.
