When I was eating wheat, I was basically semi-nauseated all the time and I really hated eating. In fact I got food aversions to many foods, and couldn't stand the texture. I got in the habit of wolfing down food and not tasting it, or going on very stringent diets (like, just lettuce and tuna fish and rye crackers, which actually made me feel rather good). I can see why people get anorexic.
I think Fast-5 gives your gut a break from the foods it is reacting to ... probably some people who react to foods can tolerate them if there is a 19-hour break, and others will find they *notice* the reaction more and then drop the offending food.

My friend was into someone similar to this guy, some spiritual guru who claimed to never eat. She wanted to try it. I laughed and said "It sounds like a cult group for anorectics." Then I said, "Why would anyone want to do that? I LOVE to eat." She told me she didn't like to eat. Which was really weird to me.
She ended up not following this guy, it was just talk for her.
