On those days, I began eating around 1:30 instead of later. (I find if I drink very little or nothing during the day, it's easier to fast too -- sometimes if I'm drinking a diet soda, it makes me hungry, so it's easier to skip them outside my window.)

I'm also finding that the later my window opens, the less I want to bother eating after having one meal. Last night I had one helping of spaghetti with marinara sauce and a lollipop my younger son gave me, and that was all I needed or wanted.

Rub your belly and notice reduction in belly fat before a change in weight on the scales.

All-carb meals aren't going to help to attain speedy fat-loss! Fatty Meat, fatty meat, fatty meat...is what you want to eat.
One meal a day is my preference.

The fasting definitely helps on maintaining weight but you're going to need to make better food selections. Don't expect miracles in quick fat loss from fasting alone, has been most of our experiences.

I looked up "Belly Fat Cure" and see that it is the direction Barry Groves "Eat Fat Get Thin" recommends, Low-Carb High-Fat.
Animal and other saturated Fats
Meat/eggs
Some Green vegetables, if you want
NOTHING else. You shouldn't intentionally eat any Carbs.
The oft-recommended Fruits gives you too much Fructose SUGAR.
Anything but green leafy vegetables will give you too many carbs.
You'll pick up a few carbs from milk, cheese and green Vegetables, but not many.
The Whole Grain kick is STILL too many carbs.
Too much protein can create a bit too much Insulin, but nothing like grains or starchy vegetables and especially fruits.

Animal Fats are neutral in Insulin creation.

Lowered Insulin levels is what you get with extended Fasting. Anything you eat which doesn't cause a large Insulin rise is useful for Fat-Loss. Hence the benefit of double-teaming Fasting with Low Carb High Fat.

Barry Groves has informative articles on food choices.
