Ah, doing our weekly trip to the grocery after church today; my husband was calling out all this "good" stuff to get like pies and breads, etc.
I find fasting is really making me feel "powerful". I said "no" so much it was like a broken record.
I've been eating better quality of food, the vegetables and fruit required by most diets. Thing of it is, I was always a little intimidated with the idea I needed to get 5 to 7 servings of fruit and vegies per day! But with FF, I just make sure I start with vegies or fruit to break the fast, and I tend to choose more wisely too.
As far as avoiding wheat, I think you are right. It does not digest easily in your system and eating it does not help me with the diet.
I find I am more hungry for the "right" stuff. I find "corn" is similar to wheat also. doesn't always digest easily.
So the best fiber sources have to be from vegetables and fruit right?
