Interesting timing this discussion about high fat and protein diets. I recently rescued a Siberian Husky who is skinny, skinny, skinny. So of course I posted on the Siberian Husky group list and asked for suggestions on healthy ways to put some weight on this dog.
The answers varied somewhat but the common theme was food with HIGH PROTEIN (min. 42%) and HIGH FAT (min. 18%). Remember, this was to GAIN weight. Regular dog food is about 1/2 those percentages.
Just thought it was odd timing of this topic.
