[fast5] Getting the "Ball Rolling"

It took me all of last summer to "get the ball rolling" with F5. I had good days and horrible days I'm sure everyone knows what that means. It wasn't until I read alot about the science of Intermittent fasting- available all over the net- that I finally let go of my fear and just trusted the system. My major fear was muscle wasting if I didn't eat protein frequently throughout the day because I was a weight lifter. My advice to you is SCIENCE, SCIENCE and more SCIENCE. Once I finally convinced myself that eating for a short amount of time is the way we are truely supposed to eat, instead of grazing all day, my body finally started following my mind, instead of the other way around. But the silly thing is, everything is right in the Fast-5 manual, it just didn't "sink in" the first few times I read it. I've read it over 20 times now and each time I pick up something new and it helps me, even if only motivationally. Oh, and if you feel like taking a day off the diet here and there, that's fine too. Bill Phillips, who wrote "Body for Life" and started Muscle Media magazine said that "cheat" or "free" days serve 2 purposes... they're alot of fun and help psychologically and by the end of the day you feel so rotten that you can't wait to start back up on your diet the next day. He is so right too. I did a "free" day a few weeks ago and I had a blast and that night I felt like a train drove over me. Haven't wanted one since.

We had a number of food related events at work today. so I moved my hours today to fit. Its better for me to get my eating done by 7pm anyway.
