Re: [fast5] Re: Reduction in Small LDL on Fast-5

Oh and you reminded my that I had a C reactive protein tested after my first round of Fast-5.  It was .1  and a year or so previously it was 1.1  So chalk up another one for IF!

another worthwhile  test is for vitamin D levels...Not that Fast-5 would help that. But still important to maintain good levels for all kinds of health.

"Find a doctor who has not been bought by the drug companies".....well that is almost impossible!  At least around here.

I am glad I don't have to deal with what the schools teach about nutrition and health.  It would drive me crazy.  It is bad enough that I feel I need to have a local doctor who knows me.  But at this point what he probably "knows" about me is that I am some sort of crazy! He didn't even blink when he saw the results of the tests...couldn't have cared less.  Had to hurry on to the next patient, you know.

You ma'am are correct. ;) So-called "high" cholesterol levels in a vaccuum don't tell you much and recommended cholesterol levels set by the drug companies are unhealthy in many individuals. Triglycerides, homocystiene, C-reactive protein, and cholesterol levels all taken and evaluated together by a physician who hasn't been bought by the drug companies can give some indication of whether you're at elevated risk for heart disease. But cholesterol levels alone don't show you much. You're on the right track.

You know, my older son who's in 2nd grade, is constantly coming home from school spouting off this nonsense that he learns in gym class about eating low fat, and fat is bad for you, blah, blah, blah. I have to remind him that fat CAN be bad in large amounts because it has twice the calories of carbs and protein, and that any food in large amounts can be bad for you. I just want him to enjoy himself at his age but I can't have the schools filling his head with 50 year old misinformation. I digress...

Thanks for posting your numbers, Ellen. It's great to see some real evidence of Fast-5's effectiveness.
