[fast5] Creamer in my coffee

Hello,

After switching my weight loss method from Shangri-La Diet (taking flavor-free calories in the am, then not feeling hungry enough to eat until late in the day) to Fast-5 daytime fasting on Aug. 11, 2009, I've lost 10-12 pounds with absolutely no effort, no hunger (even at the end of the day when I go to eat!).

I'm a total convert...here's an excerpt from my blog on weight loss, offered to point out how much I bend the rules, but still am losing about 2-5 pounds a month, with no "working out," although I move around a LOT.

Current Method: Daytime fasting, pretty much every day...starting each day with a glass of water, coffee as usual (between 30-80 cal of Silk creamer), occasionally eating during the day (2-3/week), then eating dinner at about six, often with dessert, with snacks usually throughout five hour window. Essentially what I did on oil, but without any oil. Fast 5, but with some days off, though I always end up craving a true Fast 5 day to feel great after a day or two of eating "normally" ;). Fast 5's explanation of biochemistry seems to be true, based on my experience. Need to remember to get fruits, as I'm filling up very quickly when I do eat. No hunger at all. (loss averages/month: mid Ju-Aug, 2 T flavor free oil (ELOO)...4.4lbs; mid Aug-Sept, dt fast...4.8lbs; mid Sept-Oct, dt fast...1.8lbs; mid Oct-Nov, dt fast...2.4lbs; mid Nov-Dec, dt fast... 3.2lbs) Historical: Starting at 182 in early 2006 - first ten pounds were South Beach, in a few weeks, five more down through no effort, increased activity, less stress over a year or so, then six on oil (Shangri-La Diet (2007), to 158, then the same five or so twice, a year apart on The Rice Diet (summer 2007 and 2008)...then back to 1 T oil last February (2009) at 166.4, back to 158; 2 T oil July-Aug. ('09), down to 153. SWITCHED TO FAST 5 (DAYTIME FASTING) AUGUST 10, AT 153...NOW AT 143 (UP A COUPLE FROM PRE HOLIDAY 141). No restrictions, but I'm a healthful person with fairly healthy indulgences (good chocolate, homemade foods).
