Hi, I thought I'd introduce myself... So don't mind me~
I'm a 21 year old female, about 5'11" and currently overweight-ish.
I came across the 'Fast-5' due to browsing 'Soulcyster' forums more or less the 'Diet' section, even though I've never really been into the whole diet thing...
Counting Points? Calories? ..Weighing myself Daily!? No.. thanks. I've always found it a waste of time and effort.. and quite frankly-- too me, it's depressing.
What's even more depressing is, I've been diagnosed with PCOS and had surgery last November. (My third) hence I found myself on the 'Soulcyster' Forum.. and thus I found the Fast-5.
Reading the PDF, something really clicked. It made alot of sense. I've really despised eating breakfast, at most I can handle a drink of water or a fresh hot cup of tea (Fruit/ or Herbal) but as for food... It just doesn't sit well with me and in the end, I'd just feel more tired and lazy... and considering in this day and age, you're expected to eat breakfast. I really forced myself to eat at least something and in the end, ...I'd be suffering.
But today, was my first day. I had one cup of Lemon and Ginger, with an apple twist fruit tea and the occasional glass of water. (I love my water) and I felt incredibly good. Uplifted spirits, boundless energy... and it hadn't even hit lunch time. Of course... I did experience the slight hunger pangs-- later on but considering my good mood. It was easy to just not concentrate on it.
Once my 5 hour window came by, I wasn't even the least hungry till around Seven... and then I feasted, I don't think I've appreciated my meal like that before... savoring the taste.
Pure Bliss, and it wasn't a big meal either! ( But I'm a slow-- Distracted eater)
I think I've rambled on quite enough, but considering the euphoric effect-- I experienced. I think I'm going to enjoy this change of Life-Style.. although I'm not expecting immediate results (hence I won't forever be weighing myself)
But if my clothes get looser in the next three months, I won't be complaining~<3
