You ma'am are correct. ;) So-called "high" cholesterol levels in a vaccuum don't tell you much and recommended cholesterol levels set by the drug companies are unhealthy in many individuals. Triglycerides, homocystiene, C-reactive protein, and cholesterol levels all taken and evaluated together by a physician who hasn't been bought by the drug companies can give some indication of whether you're at elevated risk for heart disease. But cholesterol levels alone don't show you much. You're on the right track.

You know, my older son who's in 2nd grade, is constantly coming home from school spouting off this nonsense that he learns in gym class about eating low fat, and fat is bad for you, blah, blah, blah. I have to remind him that fat CAN be bad in large amounts because it has twice the calories of carbs and protein, and that any food in large amounts can be bad for you. I just want him to enjoy himself at his age but I can't have the schools filling his head with 50 year old misinformation. I digress...

Thanks for posting your numbers, Ellen. It's great to see some real evidence of Fast-5's effectiveness.
