rescswmr35-
First, congrats on your first week!
Second, I have not heard any negative things that hold up to critical thinking or study of Fast-5. I've heard the usual, "what about starvation mode" questions or, "Oh my blood sugar fluctuates too much-I need to eat" stories. Most health problems that people have that they use as excuses as to why they can't do it are actually FIXED by doing it! But the more I learn about it, the more I can't really find any real problems with it... well besides social situations where some people just won't understand what you're doing. But health-wise I can find no faults with the plan.
The free Fast-5 book has lots of good health information as does www.theIFlife.com and www.marksdailyapple.com. www.eatstopeat.com is an elaborate infomercial but it has a lot of good science on the subject as well. Dr. Herring is always available here if you have any specific questions. He's a wealth of information.
