[fast5] Experiment failed - back to F5

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to update you... a couple weeks ago I decided to try Eat Stop Eat, which is essentially taking two days a week off from eating entirely (24 hours).  It worked great for a few weeks - and then, something snapped, and I was off EATING.

No joke - EATING in capital letters.  I felt miserable and completely out of control!  Even though I still managed to fast my 2 days per week, on the days I wasn't fasting I was eating like mad, and so even though I fasted twice a week I managed to gain about 10 lbs. this past month.

So I'm back now.  It may work for others, I have learned it doesn't work for me.  F5 has always worked for me, in terms of sticking to it, I just hadn't seen results which is why I switched to ESE initially.  But now I'm back because on the one hand I do believe the science behind fasting for such periods, and I find it very easy with my lifestyle to not have to eat in the evenings (my window is 9-1), and I do love my breakfast.  So, results or no, F5 is a long-term solution for me and hopefully, sometime, the weight will come off as well.  Although I'm aware that the 10 lbs. I put on within a month will surely take quite a lot longer to come off again... sigh...

All the best,
Susanne
