Hi!
I have been following the Fast-5 way of life for only 3 weeks now (after several false starts). Back in 2002 I discovered this way of eating by accident (hectic studenty lifestyle etc) and as a result achieved my ideal weight with little effort and had more energy than I had ever had in my life. I also reveled in a sense of liberation from the constant barrage of food-centric thoughts that 3+ meals a day invite. So much more time to focus on other things!
Unfortunately I gave up this way of life (I suppose additional meals and snacks crept in until they had once again taken over) and here I am, a good 30 pounds above my ideal weight and rather desperate to change this!
I wonder if I could ask your advice (and I suppose encouragement?)
I have just weighed myself and (sigh) I do not appear to have lost an ounce - after three weeks of quite strict Fast-5ving. Discouraging as that is, I have noticed that clothes are looser on me. It is as though my body is very gradually 'changing shape'(though I am not exercising at the moment!). Has anyone else noticed this happening to them?
In any case I am NOT going to give up!
Anyway, thought I would introduce myself and wish all fellow Fast-5ers the best of luck in this endeavor!
Alex (UK)
