Here is what I know for me:
I'm a 51-yo female and I am a serious weight trainer (I lift 4 times/wk).
I go in to my lifting at about 10-11 hrs fasted. Two of those lifting days
are considered 'heavy' days; in other words, I am lifting heavy weights for
fewer reps (in comparison to 'lighter' weights with higher reps). I lift
for just about an hour. One of those days, I actually have a bit of time
and do HIIT for 20 minutes afterwards.
When I first started Fast5 last fall, this was difficult for me and I was
'crashing' during my WO.
I think now I am fueling my body better so it is no problem.
