Hi guys, I've had the F5 ebook on my computer for a while but haven't really tried it yet. I have done the Warrior Diet and didn't have any problem just jumping into it. I lost 5 lbs on it the first week, but then things slowed, time of the month came (sorry, TMI) and I threw in the towel. I don't really understand it because I LOVED it and I found it fairly easy to do.
Lately though I find that once I start eating (even just fruit and veggies, like on the WD), I keep grazing all day. So I remembered F5, read through it, printed most of it out, and I'm ready to give it a go tomorrow. I'm perimenopausal and have had an extremely difficult time losing weight. I have about 45 pounds I'd like to get off. I'm only 5' tall, and I'm at about 178 right now, but before my 3rd baby I was at 140 and between a size 6/8, so I think due to my workouts and just my body type and bone/muscle density, I'm thinking 130-135 is a decent goal for me, but we'll see how I feel when I get there.
My question is, has anyone else just jumped in with this and not taken much time to ease into it? Like I said, I've done Warrior Diet, and I'm used to fasting 2 meals once a month for religious reasons. I was thinking just taking maybe a week to ease into it, or maybe trying the 19 hours from the get-go and see how it feels. I'm kinda at the point where I think my body needs a big of a shock to get things going. Anyone else jumped in all at once and been glad they did?
Anyway, sorry for the long post. :) I'm excited to try this. The simplicity, along with the ability to really enjoy a nightly family evening meal without worry or guilt really appeal to me.
