[fast5] Hello! New Here - Question...

Hi All!
I started Fast-5ing about 3 weeks ago, and I LOVE it. I love the feeling of lightness and mental clarity I have during the fasting period (I'm doing 5pm-10pm), and I love the energy!

I didn't realise it at the time, but I was sort of following a similar intermittent fasting years ago. I was eating dark chocolate, carbs, etc... without guilt or counting calories and easily maintaining weight. I could even losing a bit if I cut out the carbs and chocolate.
About two years ago, I decided I wanted to drop those pesky last 8 or so pounds. I've always been active, but I really ramped upped my
exercise, started counting calories, and started eating several small meals. My calories never went over 1200-1300. I didn't lose weight. I actually gained 8 lbs!! :-(
I had blood tests done, etc...I was told my thyroid was fine, although I am a bit suspect as my T3 levels were borderline low. I worried that I was undereating and had slowed my metabolism (I'm always cold!). Then I read all of this stuff online about undereating and people who upped their calories and were able to lose weight again, but, after that 8lb gain, I was too terrified to add more calories.

For the last two years, I've been struggling to drop the (now) 16 lbs of fat, when it finally hit me on the head... what was different before when I lost weight? Fasting!! So here I am again (intentionally this time), and I feel great so far. I don't weigh myself; I'm going only on how my clothes fit, and I have noticed a tiny bit of loosening - I think...
I work out (yoga, pilates, cardio, dance) 6 days a week. Most of my workouts fall during the fasting period. At first, I was feeling a little "slumpy" during my longer (2+ consecutive hours) day workouts, but this week I've noticed more energy during fasted workouts; I hope this means I've transitioned to burning fat stores!

Sorry for the long post. I do have a question. As I mentioned, I've been eating between 1100-1300 calories per day - I would be primarily at the lower end and not losing a thing. Since beginning Fast-5, I vary between 1000-1200 calories per day - though yesterday, I ate 1300! I usually only even hit those numbers by allowing myself to eat a few extra nuts than I would have in the past. If I don't eat the nuts, I'm down around 800-1000 (if lucky).
I don't want to undereat, but I don't have much of a calorie deficit compared to what I was eating before. Is it possible for me to still drop weight despite the lack of calories deficit? I'd love to drop a pound a week. I know everyone is different, and I know I don't have a significant amt. to lose, which makes it more difficult, but 1lb/week isn't entirely unrealistic.
Perhaps some of the more experienced F5ers here might have some insight/input?

Thanks so much!
Allie
