Re: [fast5] How quickly should person lose weight?

Everybody varies with this.  But it seems it is not at all unusual to lose a good deal of weight early on and then settle in to a pound or two a week.  So just keep track of how much you lose each week from now on.  It sounds like this is the perfect diet for you.  I wouldn't worry.

What are you eating when you do eat?  You need protein to keep muscle.  If you are eating about 75 G protein  a day i don't think you will lose muscle.  It would be a good idea to do some resistance training though.

I've been fast-5ing this time successfully for about 3 weeks. I am a returning Fast-5er after a few attempts. This time though, I have it down and I feel great. I feel like I've gotten my blood sugar under control.

I noticed I am getting leaner and the right fat seems to be melting away. My thighs are notably thinner as well as my waist. I'm wondering though, I've been losing weight quite rapidly. I've lost about 8 pounds since I started. Should I not question it? I'm just concerned about losing muscle. I actually feel a lot less flabby and much leaner.

Also, my appetite is way down. I don't even really get hungry. And if I'm stressed out (from work) I don't want to eat at all. If anything, I am full of energy, I'm never exhausted, I don't need too much sleep.

Is everything okay? Should I be worried?
