Yes, the party was at my house... and a friend brought me some cakes .. I
put them out with desserts made sugarfree... and there was still too much
leftover :( I did Great at dinner with friends... and even after dinner with
my LC desserts... but the next day ... with them just sitting here... I should
have sent them home with some of my friends but they are diabetic too...
and I just couldn't do that... I should have given it to the chickens... and
got rid of it that way... I did send what I didn't eat to work with dh to give
away there... he can't eat it either...
Yes, I think it was expected of me to try them while they were there...
one of the cakes were a recipe I gave my friend .. I made it last yr and
she liked it... I like it too .. .but like you said it's like poison for me now..
When it comes to sugar ... even as a 3 or 4 yr old I Loved sugar... I'd put
way too much in my hot oatmeal and just eat it whole... if I could sneak
it... and if I had any money it went for candy... maybe sugar brings back
the good feeling of childhood for me.. it sure doesn't make me feel good
physically and I know it... what I did did open my eyes as to how high my
BS could and does go when I eat it... something I didn't see before but only
could imagine since I had 2h PP of 100-125... eating low carb foods....
I have learned something from my cheat... and that's that I can NOT eat
anything with sugar .. unless I want to completely kill my pancreas ... it's
not in good shape as it is... I don't want to do that...
