The blood banks are open daily ... just Google to find one in your area.
Donating just twice a year appears to be enough to help blood sugar
processing (and help prevent heart attacks). Someone said:
"Donate blood. The life you save might be your own".

Problem is for people who can't (because they traveled to the
wrong country or are on certain meds) donate blood. I forsee
the resurgence of "plebotomy clinics".
