I'm testing my FBS upon waking. Now that I'm not working out at the gym at
530am anymore, I'm getting 8 hrs of sleep every night.
I was testing - sometimes - before I broke my fast - just to see - but
you-know-who called me obsessive and said there was no need to test then....
:-P
I'm too lazy to get my Dr B book but I recall him talking about meal
spacing, too. I just didn't think it was as you are saying. Perhaps I'm
recalling him saying the 'at least 4 hrs'.....

That is true..
When are you doing your FBS? I was doing them within a few minutes of
awaking in the morning... but I'm also wondering with this WOE if it's not
better to do it at least 12hrs after your last meal...
Some nights I only get 5hrs of sleep and some I get 7 or even 8... so of
course my BS would be higher only after 5hrs... I like this WOE because
sometime during the day my BS have to be within "normal" after 19hrs...
well, I guess they wouldn't Have to be normal at all.. but thankfully they
are...
Dr Bernstein says that at least 4-5hrs between meals is the best to let the
BS(get normal) on the second insulin release and finish it's job...
