RE: [fast5] Re: fast 5 ( Helen)

Hi Helen

Those are great BS numbers!!!

Mine, crazily, were good over Thanksgiving weekend, when I was NOT keeping
track and I know I was eating more carbs and less fat (what I DID get, tho,
was cravings!!!).

Now that I'm back to my 'ratios', my FBS is back over 100.....

I'm realizing that I need to be just as concerned, however, with my post
prandial numbers, which are in the upper 90s (with any luck) or low 100s...

With Fast5, you are to eat during a 5-hr window.

But what's happening, simply because of 'life', I'm breaking my fast at
lunch time (noon) then eating dinner whenever we are home and dinner is
ready (sometimes at 6, sometimes not till 8). So it doesn't necessarily
work out to a 5-hr eating window...

But I find obsessing over the 5-hr window is worse than having a 7-hr eating
window..

My window is 3-8... so my morning BS are still in the 90's :( but my 19 hr
FBS yesterday was 68 and it's been in the 70's ... So, I think that is
Great..
the only problem first I lost 2lbs then I gained 3 :( and haven't lost it
yet...
I've been eating nuts for the last wk... guess I'm going to have to cut
those out...

Dr Bernstein says not to eat more often than every 5hrs ... is that why you
eat those 2 meals 5hrs apart ?

How have your BSs been?

Helen
