Hi Helen,

I'm sorry you haven't had replies to your questions. I tend not to post much nowadays but let me assure you yes Fast5 works. I've lost over 70lbs on it. I've been doing it for nearly 2 years now and for quite some time have been 'maintaining'.  I seem to have levelled out at 110 lbs or thereabouts and I definitely don't want to lose any more.

Before I started Fast5, I'd been on various low carb diets, I'd done Atkins but was happiest with Carboydrate Addicts Lifespan Program (CALP byt the Hellers) I'd lost a lot of weight on that but invariably got fed up and drifted off it. At me heaviest I was 190lbs and probably about 175 - 180lbs when I started Fast5. I cold turkeyed in, found that a dawdle until day 5 which was horrible but everyone assured me that would pass and sure enough by day 7 everything was fine.

At first I incorporated low carbing but as time went on, I found I could handle a much higher amount of carbs than before.  I've never counted calories. I found on Fast5 my tatses changed, I cut out sugar and (after food intoerance testing) all grains. I'm now in the process of transitioning to a wholly raw (vegan) diet. I'd say I'm about 80 -90% raw and gradually increasing it. What i like about Fast5 is, it doesn't matter what you eat, you can incorporate it, so good luck on your journey.

BTW are ther any other high raw eaters in this group?

Cheers
Kirsteen
