[fast5] Re: Update #1!!!! :)

I did start cold turkey, I'll try the adjustment phase and see if it helps me, these last couple of days I've just been eating when I'm hungry and focusing mainly of fruits and vegetables making sure that at the very minimum that half my meal is fruit or veggie, its been very filling and delicious haha :)

I had no trouble cold turkey so I believe that everyone probably has a different reaction. Give it a shot again and stretch it out over a week or 10 days to give your body time to adjust. I find it to be a very easy lifestyle to live with, much easier than trying to count calories or limit my intake of certain foods. I have lost about 10 pounds over the last 3 months and have hit a plateau but hope to start losing again soon.

I started on October 1st at 355 pounds, after ten days I weighed in at 352 pounds. Yay! 3 pounds lost! I ended up switching back to my old diet after 4 days because of weird side effects I was experiencing. I did the fast 5 for 4 days in a row and each night that I did I slept like a log and was having trouble waking up and feeling energetic and excited to jump out of bed and start my day. I felt like a big fat couch potato and the most exercise I got was just going to work. I usually don't feel that sluggish and have more energy on less sleep. The worst side effect which made me switch back was each night after the eating window having a big meal all at once gave me chest pain that i've never experienced before and very extreme vivid nightmares. I can't remember the last time I had a memorable dream of any kind before this experience. I would wake up all tense and sweaty in a panic and felt so tired that I could sleep another 10 hours. After day 4 I couldn't eat very much and have just been nibbling on food when I get hungry but haven't had a big meal, haven't had any nightmares or chest pain with the nibbles. I'm excited about the weight loss! I'm a little disappointed with my experience with this, I'm willing to learn more if anyone has any tips or has experienced anything like I did, i'll update again after another 10 days, comments welcome I enjoy reading these
