[fast5] seeking guidance for Fast-5 beyond 3 weeks...



Hello y'all

This question is in particular for those who have done Fast-5 for over a month, although all truly helpful guidance is certainly appreciated.

This is my third (well, technically fourth, but the first time was years ago and I don't remember how long I tried it for) attempt at Fast-5 - it's gone like this:
... started about 7 weeks ago, did Fast-5 for 3 weeks, and then at three weeks went off of it for a few days, then resumed Fast-5, did it again for 3 weeks, and then again went off of it for a few days, and am now resuming Fast-5...

... One of the main reasons I stopped Fast-5 both times was that I felt like I was 'over-compensating' too much in my eating during the window, in anticipation of the fasting-time.
... Another reason I ended it, at least this last time (I don't know if it was part of the reason for the first quit) was needing to rebel against a feeling of "restriction" and wanting to reject the negative belief that I can't just 'eat in alignment with my highest good' without some certain food structure such as this...

Anyway, here I am trying it again, because I do feel if I can do Fast-5 effectively that there are many great benefits to it, some of which I was already experiencing, despite feeling like I was 'over-compensating' in the eating-window. 

... So I am seeking guidance in terms of... how to do Fast-5 effectively without (a) feeling like I'm restricting (which seems like setting myself up for a rebel-reaction), (b) over-compensating in the eating, and (c) quitting after three weeks!  From the book it did seem like there is something particular about three-or-so weeks, and I feel like perhaps I have to somehow get over that hump......
