Hopefully you are logging your foods. There are decidedly some foods
that trigger hunger more than others. Sometimes the issue is an IgA immune
reaction, which isn't actually related to the amount of carb in the food.
Or some foods trigger yeast/bacterial growth that seems to
trigger appetite. And some foods trigger an insulin serge (or the
reverse and make you less hungry).
I first noticed many years ago that I felt WONDERFUL on extremely restricted
diets, but it took years for me to pinpoint exactly WHY those diets
made me feel so good. Actually one reason I do Fast-5 is that having
fewer meals, it's easier to tell the effect of the meal on my energy,
mental alertness, digestion, hunger.

Hi all,
I'm conducting an experiment on myself. This past week (completed tomorrow) I have eaten nothing but eggs (protein) and fats. I did this because I was/am desperate to shift some weight, but the unexpected result was that I have, for the first time, experienced absolutely NO hunger whatsoever!
I always ate low-ish carb, never any sugars / grains / starches, but I would normally eat my vegetables and quite a lot of them, in salads as well as cooked. Adding up to perhaps 80-100g of carbs per day. Now, this past week, I've eaten about 8 eggs per day and as much fat as I wanted, i.e. butter or coconut oil for scrambling eggs, mayo on hardboiled eggs. I'm getting tired of eggs and will probably allow for other proteins next week, but the way I feel as I do this is nothing short of a revelation.
