RE: [fast5] Re: seeking guidance for Fast-5 beyond 3 weeks...

I can’t speak to the vegetarian part.  You’ve made that choice for reasons that make sense to you.

So I can’t tell you what you ‘should’ be eating.

I tried a vegetarian diet for about 3 months earlier this year; I was not fasting then (took too long to eat those salads LOL!).

I stopped, tho, as I felt I was losing muscle tone and was tired of the constantly bloated feeling and gas.

6 wks ago, I started eating high fat low carb.

Yesterday, my fat intake was 143 grams (76% of my total calories).

The last thing I ate was a bowl of popcorn w/1 T butter at 10pm.

It’s only been 14.5 hrs (as of this writing) since I ate last.

My tummy is grumbling at me; my girls are fixing their lunch so I can smell their foods…

Under ‘normal’ circumstances, I’d give in to that hunger and eat.

But since I’ve used Fast5 for a long time now, I know I’m fine; I’m not going to keel over if I don’t eat immediately.

So I wait.  and drink water (now warm w/lemon juice in it).

I am waiting to eat until my blood sugar drops down in to the normal range (83)..

So eating low carb has helped you stay satisfied throughout the 19 hour period? That's my main struggle right now, I'm starving the next day and its been 5 weeks. But I'm recently a new vegetarian so I find myself eating carbs all through my 5 hour window. What should I be eating?
