RE: [fast5] Exercise and Fast 5...

Hi Ms Brown.

Until recently, I worked out (hard/intensely) fasted for well over 7-8
months with no problems.

But, I will say I had to work up to that degree of success.

When I started Fast5 a year ago and was lifting, I was crashing during my
lifts. Sleepy, couldn't get power under my lifts, etc.

This year/summer, I was making sure that I was fueling my body up with the
good stuff so that when I went in to my work out, I had plenty of power.

I'm not sure whether to tell you to not push so hard during your first work
out fasted or to just see how it goes... <g>

^shrug^ you'll just have to see how it goes for you.

Subject: [fast5] Exercise and Fast 5...

I have decided to make my window between 2-7pm. The problem is, I usually
exercise in the morning after the kids have gone to school and before it
gets too hot to walk the dog. When I get home (sometime around 10am) I'm
usually starving and will have something to eat. This morning is my first
day on F5 and because I can't eat yet I've gulped down nearly a litre of
water. My usual intake is around 2 litres a day. I don't have a problem
drinking so much water, since I am a water junkie BUT is it ok to workout
and not eat? How does everyone else do with morning exercise?
