[fast5] Re: New member, curious, welcomes feedback

Thanks Pam for replying!

"I was working out 2 1/2 hours a day and not loosing weight."
How frustrating! That would have driven me literally insane.

"Building muscle tissue is one way you can train your body to burn fat."

I am going to the pool today and my intention is to use the new polystyrene weights I have bought and do only resistence exercises and stretching of my limbs, no actual swimming.

"adrenal fatigue"

I have checked out the links, thanks for that. I don't have any of those symptoms apart from lack of weight loss. My doctor is useless, would not even give me a fasting insulin test.

"don't be disappointed if you don't get results immediately."

I cannot help it -- I AM extremely disappointed. Esp at the thought of trying to fit my 69 inch hips into a 17 inch seat and the resultant public humiliation.... Oh Lordy!

"Sometimes the body can be a little stubborn. Just stick with it."

Mine is the most stubbornest body on earth! But yes, I am sticking with it, no choice now.

"you should get some of these books and read them yourself."

For the past 8 weeks I have spent about 8 to 10 hours a day reading about weight loss, nutrition etc. Books, website, blogs, emails, messageboards, you name it. I have even abandoned all my real work (Because of this I haven't even prepared my speech and presentation I have to give in Sweden in just 2 weeks time!)

"Listen to your body. Let it tell you what you need to do."

My body tells me to eat two sirloin steaks a day with plenty of butter, one at breakfast and one at dinner, to sleep 12 hours a day and to go swimming 3 x a week.

"Namaste!"

What does that mean?

Helena
