Re: [fast5] belly fat and insulin resistance

You might want to get a glucometer and test your blood sugar, both fasting and after meals for a day to see  what is going on.  That way you will know for sure if you have any blood sugar issues and can  then use the glocometer to make sure that whatever actions you choose are actually working.

this is really interesting to me personally. i think i'm one of those people who stores most of my fat in my belly and who may be heading down the road (if i'm not already there) towards having an insulin resistance problem.

i'm determined to stick with fast5. but i also want to know if (besides diet and exercise) there are any little, simple changes that i could make that would make a huge impact? for example, heather is always mentioning that she takes konjac powder. would konjac powder help this condition? if not, are there any foods and/or supplements that would really help with this type of problem??
